General Educational Development (GED©)
Available in English or Spanish 

  • Classes to prepare for the GED© test
  • Focus on math, science, social studies, and language arts
  • Free GED© Ready practice test vouchers for enrolled students 
  • Classes offered mornings, afternoons, and evenings
  • GED testing is offered at East Hartford High School
    • GED testing is available most Mondays and Wednesdays, between 4:00PM and 8:00PM

Credit Diploma Program (CDP)

  • Transfer credits earned to date
  • Complete remaining credits in class and/or online
  • Classes offered in language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, the arts, transitions, vocational education, and electives
  • Credits earned for work and military history 
  • 23 credits needed to earn an East Hartford diploma
  • Open enrollment throughout the year 
 

National External Diploma Program (NEDP)

  • Work individually with an assessor to demonstrate high school-level mastery of skills
  • Competency based assessment using a computer-based program
  • Student/Advisor sessions take place during the day and/or evening (virtually)
  • Tutoring available in math, reading, and writing
